The Audio 2-Wire Kit is easy to install and comes complete with a vandal-resistant and weatherproof external call point audio door station, a power supply unit and the internal handset. It offers 2-way audio with superior clarity and will operate at up to 100 metres wiring distance. The system has the capacity to support lock release switching, and can be expanded to two handsets, with an additional handset (APKITAOH) available separately.
It utilises simple 2-Wire installation technology, which offers many benefits and advantages over traditional door entry systems. For straightforward and time-efficient installations, the 2-Wire technology provides a friendly platform by reducing the number of cores required for connection and requires just one power supply unit. This ensures that just one PSU needs to be concealed and supplied with just a single electrical mains supply.
The new door entry kit also benefits from the newly designed instruction manuals that ESP has developed for the entire Aperta Access Control range. The manual aims to enhance the simplicity of installation, by incorporating easy-to-follow, step-by-step graphics which takes the user through the installation and programming processes.
